Infused Health Now Offering Ketamine Therapy via IM Injections

At Infused Health, we're committed to expanding access to innovative mental health solutions. We’re excited to share that, in addition to our highly effective IV ketamine infusions, we now offer ketamine therapy via intramuscular (IM) injections.

Whether you’re exploring ketamine for depression, anxiety, PTSD, or suicidal ideation, our team is here to guide you toward the option that best fits your needs. Let’s explore what this means for you.

IV vs. IM: What’s the Difference?

IV Ketamine InfusionsThis is the gold standard of ketamine therapy. Administered directly into the bloodstream, IV ketamine offers 100% absorption, ensuring a precise and reliable dosage. It’s ideal for those who want full control over their experience and dosage titration.

IM Ketamine Injections—Intramuscular injections are given directly into the muscle, usually in the arm or thigh. While they offer slightly lower absorption than IV (about 93%, compared to IV’s 100%), they still significantly outperform other methods and come with added benefits, especially in terms of cost and convenience.

Why Choose IM Ketamine?

Cost Savings—One of the biggest advantages of IM ketamine therapy is the reduced cost. With IM, patients save more than 50% on the initial appointment and over 40% on booster sessions compared to IV infusions—making this a more accessible option for many people.

Strong Clinical Outcomes—Recent studies have shown that IM injections may produce better results for those experiencing suicidal ideation, offering fast-acting relief with a high rate of effectiveness.

High Absorption—IM injections offer 93% absorption, significantly outperforming other popular methods such as:

  • Intranasal (spray): 8–50% absorption

  • Oral (troche): 16–29% absorption

So while IV remains the gold standard, IM is a powerful and effective alternative.

What We Offer at Infused Health

At Infused Health, we focus on providing safe, evidence-based care, which is why we only offer the two most effective ketamine delivery methods: IV and IM. We do not offer intranasal or oral ketamine, as those methods come with less predictable absorption and more variability in therapeutic outcomes.

Let’s Talk About What’s Right for You

Our clinical team is here to help you decide which option—IV or IM—is best for your goals, health history, and comfort level. Whether you’re seeking rapid relief from depression or looking to reduce the intensity of long-standing anxiety or trauma symptoms, we’re here to support you with a treatment plan that’s tailored to your needs.
